Creative Chaos

Moments soaked in Time cherished and smashed In between coffee stained Pages filled with snapshots Bedazzled by artist's hands Cutting, Pressing, Touching With glitter tipped fingers Smearing gold across photos Drenched in memories

Dragon's Breathe

She sighs, waiting in her empty bed The cold, invading her senses, chilling her bones Alone, she covets for her lover's heated flesh Warm breathe upon cool skin, burns Souls ignite with the first touch Minds melt, hearts thaw Sighs escape between hungry kisses Hands clasp, bodies shudder Taking only what they need from one another Seconds, minutes, hours Neither willing to grant more Desire simmers in her eyes Shadows fade from his Fated to be together If only a handful of moments Holding, he offers Pierced, she surrenders Tongues sear Lips brand Teeth scour Nails rake Brought to a blazing peak Shattering, colors burst behind her eyes Spent, parched, her body Shimmers like a blue-tipped flame Entangled, they lay upon scorched sheets Soot smears her blood filled cheeks Specks of charcoal cover his chest Glowing embers in the aftermath She curls into his side, tr acing the dragon from head to tail  Singing her fingertips, s...

Breadcrumbs

If I die before our journey's end I have but a few requests of you my friend Take me and burn me until the embers cool   Leaving nothing but sooty ash Smearing white across your fingertips Take and fill a velvety bag Loop it through your belt, cinch it tight Pull out your compass Put on your gypsy shoes And begin Scatter me here Under sunset skys of rich, vibrant color Where the scent of sage dances on the wind Scatter me there On those moss covered cliffs Where echoes crash against the rocks Scatter me everywhere you go Until your compass is faded Your gypsy shoes worn and scuffed Leave me like a trail of breadcrumbs So you may find your way home Again

Echoes

I felt the echoes of your pain last night Beating against my heart As if it were my very own Your tears were drenching my soul Your sobs wracking my insides Words tumbled from my lips Ramblings and promises Anything and everything My only thought, keep her going, keep her walking Just a little further Armed only with puzzles and snack food I waited A thousand miles away Counting each breath over the phone I waited Home; you finally said So I turned off the light Sat in the dark and silence And prayed I prayed for your mind to be too muddled Your bones to be heavy  Prayed for sleep to take you To kiss your tear stained cheeks Tucking you in, wrapping its arms Around you, as I would Whispering no dreams tonight

Shades of Gray

Under your spoiled and selfish nature; I suffer, Quick to receive, Reluctant to give, Blinded by the wholesome surface, Brimming underneath with darkness, Your embrace both poisons and possesses me, Catching a glimpse of the shadows, Tempts my curiosity to a peak, There is no black or white, Only several shades of gray, When it comes to your twisted mind, You promise and you assure, You break and you sidestep, I give you an out, Yet you lie to my face, Days ending with tears and frustration, Hopes crushed and scattered, Grains of sand in the wind, Another let down, Another crack in my heart, My patience is wearing thin.

Dream Walk

I went on a walk last night, It just happened to be in my dreams, My journey began when I watched as Thor arrived, On Iceland Airlines with his followers in tow, I skated to meet this honorable giant, On a thick slab of ice, various shades blue, Yet I wore no blades upon my feet, Hitting fast forward the next thing I know, I'm smelling the pungent undergrowth and tasting the sweet mist, Plopped in the center of the jungle, Sitting on a worn purple couch, I'm surrounded by friends and a transvestite with style, Eddie Izzard is his name, Comedy his foreplay, I saw my mother in there somewhere, As I walked from one dream to the next, Funny it is to see the dead, Not remembering until you wake, In between those fuzzy moments, They are as real as you and me, When time pauses it seems, As I left those dreams behind, Continuing my walk back toward reality, I couldn't help but shake the sand from my ears, Pondering what I had seen.

Seduction

My cheeks are flushed, My head is soft, My eyes are swimming, My tongue is tangled, My kisses are sweet, Awh... Wine how you seduce me.
